The R.A.T. system was developed by a firefighter and Security Specialist with the United States Secret Service to breach armored Sedans and SUVs in approximately one minute.

A Crucial Tool

Armored vehicle occupants are often targets of IED attacks, vehicle crashes, ramming, attempted kidnapping, and various other acts of violence. Prior to the creation of the Rapid Access Tool, protective operations personnel and rescuers were denied timely access to the people they protect during emergencies.

Conventional rescue tools, such as hydraulic spreaders, cutting saws and torches, cannot safely or efficiently breach structurally compromised armored vehicles.

The Rapid Access Tool will rescue injured occupants who were previously left trapped without lifesaving assistance.
